The game between South African football rivals Orlando Pirates and Mamelodi Sundowns, who are demolishing everything in front of them, is the most anticipated game for football fans this weekend. Pirates will face Sundowns in a DStv Premiership match on Saturday at 3pm at Orlando Stadium. It is critical that the Buccaneers prepare for the weekend game in order to defeat the unstoppable Sundowns. Sundowns defeated Pirates by two goals in the first match of the DStv Premiership. It was retaliation for being defeated by Pirates in the MTN8.

Monnapule Saleng single-handedly defeated Sundowns in that match last year. Can Saleng save Pirates from Sundowns, who were last defeated in that game? The Pirates players on the field will respond to this question. Pirates will welcome Sundowns at a good time after beating Golden Arrows and Stellenbosch with a rain of goals in their previous games. Pirates’ main issue was a lack of goals. Even though Sundowns will be on high alert, Saleng, Kermit Erasmus, and Vincent Pule are the men who can help Jose Riveiro’s team.

Sundowns are difficult to beat because they always play to win and their players are fierce on the field. They travel to Soweto looking for points to put some distance between themselves and the teams behind them before the CAF Champions League matches later this month.

Makhehleni Makhaula, who previously played for AmaZulu, will be welcomed by the Buccaneers. AmaZulu released him after his agreement to play for Pirates. As the transfer window closed, Chippa United signed Tshepo Matete, Swallows signed Bongani Sam, and SuperSport United signed Zakhele Lepasa. Dan Malesela was fired by Marumo Gallants, and Dylan Kerr took his place.
