Mahambehlala Communications, a leader in bringing entertainment to the Eastern Cape, returns with never-before-seen entertainment.
The last weekend of 2022, December 30, will be the day to welcome visitors from major cities such as Cape Town, Johannesburg, and Durban after a long year with musical entertainment.
The Ebubeleni Festival in Gqeberha is now in its eleventh year.
Gqeberha native Zonke Dikana, Ami Faku, Vusi Nova, Phinda Mtya-Matlala, Makhadzi, Msaki, Mandisi Dyantyis, Nomfundo Moh, Musa Keys, and K.O are among the musicians who will perform at the Nelson Mandela Bay stadium.
They will be joined by ten local musicians.
Every year, approximately 27,000 revellers visit Ebubeleni.
“In these ten years, Ebubeleni is proud to have contributed to the economy of the city and the province because of the visitors who come to Ebubeleni, which have increased the number of visitors to the city, created temporary work opportunities, and provided a platform for local musicians to entertain and make money at the same time,” said Mahambehlala Communications.
Despite the fact that the past two years have been dark on the entertainment stage due to Covid-19, the festival’s organisers have continued to appear with small events.
The gates open at 10 a.m. on December 30, and the event begins at 12 p.m. and ends at 2 a.m.
Ebubeleni will host GQ Socials New Year’s Day in The Park in Victoria Park, Gqeberha, to ring in the new year.
“People are encouraged to bring picnic baskets, blankets, chairs, hats, and umbrellas to celebrate the new year,” according to Mahambehlala Communications.
On stage are Sjava, Simmy, Something Soweto, Berita, Sleeze, Paige, Sdala B, and Ikhona, as well as Gqeberha singers and DJs.
Sima Fiyo and Representative Notsh will host this event.
Webticket, Pick ‘n Pay, and Boxer will sell tickets.
The event’s organizers stated that tickets are still available for R200 until December 10, after which they will be R300 for General, R100 for Cooler Box, and R1000 for VIP.
The gates open at 10 a.m. for the New Year’s Day in the Park and runs until 7 p.m.
