Jeffreys Bay and Kruisfontein lead the EC Super 14!

Despite the fact that it was another postponed game, some teams were able to play their games. After two wins in the second week, Jeffreys Bay and Kruisfontein United lead the Eastern Cape Rugby Super 14 standings. The teams are split into two groups, with Jeffreys Bay leading Group B after defeating Young Leopards 23-6 last weekend.

Kruisfontein, on the other hand, leads Group A after defeating Gardens 22-15 in a difficult game. The defending champions, Progress, started the season well by beating Ncerha Leopards 20-14 after not playing the first game, which was postponed at the last minute for reasons known to the organisers of the Super 14, which has grown to 16 teams after the addition of two teams from other provinces.

Park defeated Moonlight 26-7, EL Police defeated Swallows 12-6, and Harlequins defeated Kirkwood 18-12. Two games have been postponed: one between Ntlaza Lions and George Crusaders and another between Old Selbornians and East Rand United. Since the season began two weeks ago, neither of the new teams (George Crusaders nor East Rand) has played. Also, this weekend, rugby teams from all over the Eastern Cape province will compete for points for the current season.

At Parkdene, George Crusaders will play Harlequins. Kirkwood will be looking to defeat the Ntlaza Lions at the Bergsig Sporting Ground. Ntlaza is optimistic about the game because it won the first one well. The Young Leopards will face Swallows, who have not been defeated in their previous games, at Ducats Field.

East London Police will face Jeffreys Bay in the match, which will take place at the Police Park Cricket Stadium. Park is hosted by East Rand United, Gardens by Selbornians, Kruisfontein by Ncerha, and Moonlight by Progress. On Saturday, all games begin at 3pm. It is unclear whether the new teams (East Rand United and George Crusaders) will be able to play their weekend games.
