Inside the school, there is an increasing incidence of male and female teachers sexually abusing their students.
Two teachers will appear in separate courts on Friday for sexually abusing students.
A 26-year-old Ntsizwa High School teacher in Mount Ayliff is facing two rape charges after raping two students in May and September 2022. These Grade 12 students are between the ages of 18 and 19.
During these two months, he did this in one of the classrooms.
According to the NPA report, he used to call one victim while locking her in the room, raping her, and threatening her not to tell anyone.
Both students informed their classmates separately about their teacher’s behaviour. When the students informed their parents, the teacher was arrested. It was discovered that both students were pregnant and had been impregnated by the teacher.
The teacher was arrested on October 25, and his case has been scheduled for Friday, where he will apply for bail.
Meanwhile, a 35-year-old teacher at Lusikisiki’s Mdingi S.P.S Primary School is accused of abusing 21 boys and forcing them to watch pornography on the computer.
Tyali stated that the teacher began this habit in November of last year by touching the boys’ private parts in the classrooms.
Following that, he would summon the children to his bedroom, claiming that he would assist them with their school work or that he needed them to assist him with household chores.
This is how this teacher proceeded to show them pornography, order them to touch their private parts, and force them to observe others touching themselves.
This teacher is married and has a wife back home. It is also believed that he used to collect the victims’ semen and place it in a can, and it is unknown where he took it.
The NPA has stated that it will reject the teacher’s bail application. Advocate Nkululeko Mzinyathi was assigned to this case. In addition to the cases already filed against the teacher, more are expected to be filed on Friday.
