Ulwazi High School in Mdantsane and Nyanga High School in Ngcobo are two Eastern Cape schools that excelled once again in the matric results.
Aphelele Bly of Ulwazi High School and Khanyisile Landingwe of Nyanga High School are top achieving students from these schools.
These students will represent the Eastern Cape in Johannesburg today, when the Minister of Basic Education, Angie Motshekga will officially release the 2022 matric results.
Ulwazi is a Mdantsane school with a strong track record of excellent matric results. And Nyanga, in the villages of Ngcobo, has not ceased to be the matric pass rate leader. Students from Nyanga High School who passed with flying colours in the province include Ovayo Mkendlana, Somila Siwa, and Dumisani Tukwayo.
The Eastern Cape MEC for Education, Fundile Gade, and the Head of the Department of Education, Mahlubandile Qwase, will release the matric results tomorrow at 10am at the Mandla Makhuphula Institution in Sterling, East London.
