Guqulan’ umdlanga lo

Akukho nto inzima ngathi ziinguqu! UMzantsi Afrika uxakene nesihelegu sokufa kwabakhwetha; amaXhosa sesona sizwe sixakene nesidanga entungo.

Isihlava sinye, ngumdlanga ukhothwe yinunu! Umdlanga wabagoso mhla waphunculwa ngamakomkhulu, labe liguqulwe ke isiko lokwaluka kwaXhosa.

Isingathi kudingeka ezinye iinguqu ke nakweli ityeli! Kutshanje urhulumente weli phondo ubambisene nabesikhululo sosasazo uMhlobo Wenene uthathe uhambo lokusombulula undonakele, kuthundezwa nebuyambo.

Kokwam ke ukuthabathisa isingathi kusabuywe nembandeskhova. Imbizo iziqhathile yaxoxa kwaeza nto zaziwayo nezithethwa mihla le. Akukho mntu ungamaziyo undonakele kodwa sithe gqolo ukuxoxa ngokuziqhatha.

Ukwaluka akukho mdlangeni kakade; nanga amakhwenkwe ebuya enemikhuba edlangiwe. Ulwaluko olumiyo sele likukuthundeza nje ubhityo. Ukuba amakhwenkwe afa egameni lomdlanga, nobudoda abukho kuwo, kwalani singaguquli wona?

Ewe, umdlanga awubulali xa usekunene; ke ngoku wabiwa kukunxele, namakhankatha akasengawo, yatshabha ke indima noncedo lwawo!

Ukuba urhulumente uyakhathazeka yindyikityha yokufa ngebekela bucala iindawo zokwalusela azilawule ngemithetho yezempilo neyezokhuseleko.

Okanye makuguqulelwe umdlanga ezibhedlele, ube kumagumbi abucala apho. Akukho nyala kuleyo nto; aba bakhwetha bahlangulwa ezibhedlele, okanti nangaphambi kokuya ebhumeni baqala khona. Isibhedlele sele sangena saphelela kweli siko, asisezontloni; khanyelani ndatyhola!

Okwasendle kwaphelelwa lixesha; uhlaza lwadliwa yimbalela. Sele ikukubopha amabande. Mna ndithi inkwenkwe ebhumeni mayiyele ukuyokwaluka kuphela (ukufunda ubudoda), umdlanga ube kwarhulumente. Kambe ke kuseza kuba njalo kona, nokuba koba semva kwewaka leminyaka! Xa ugoso lo mphini siwuphetheyo kwalani singaxozi wumbi?

Kungonakala ntoni kulwaluso lwamakhwenkwe ngokumisela amagumbi okudlangela ezibhedlele, ze bakube bewoyisile umdlanga basiwe ebhumeni ukuya kwaluka? Kungenza sihlava sini oko, ngaphezu kwesi sokufa kwabakhwetha?

Iinkosi zezizwe ezalusela ezindle mazivume kuguqulwe umdlanga! Sele zininzi kangaka nje iinguqu kwisiko lokwaluka kwalani lingaguqulwa nje nakweli ityeli?
