Zonke iinkosi zabantu eMzantsi Afrika zohluthwa amalungelo okuphatha nguRhulumente wamaNgesi ngowe1850 kwamiswa endaweni yazo oondaba-zabantu (iimantyi ezongamele imicimbi yabaNtsundu) khon’ukuze kuvele ezidolophini ezi ofisi zaziqwalasela amasiko nezithethe zabaNtsundu.

Umdla ke kwesi senzo seenkosi: Ingaba oku asilulo uphawu lokoyiswa kwazo ukuhlalela imicimbi yelizwe ngesidima nengqiqo yesithethe sasebukhosini? Lingakanani ifuthe lalo mdlalo ezilalini kwiindawo ezilawula iinkosi?

Nditsho kuba kwakulaa minyaka yowe1959 ngethuba yayivutha imibutho yabaNtsundu ezidolophini isilwa inkqubo yocalucalulo kusithiwa mazingakhwelwa kungaphangelwa, kwafumaniseka ukuba elo khwelo alikwazi kungena ezilalini kuba abantu basebenzela bona. Xa ndiwuqwalasela lo mba walo mdlalo kukhona ukulambatha kwicala lolwazi. Umcelimngeni ojamelene neenkosi kwidabi lokulwa umdlalo othi ‘Inxeba’ kukuba zilwa neengcingakuqiqa (philosophy) ezisuka kwamanye amazwe.

Iingcingakuqiqa zikaKarl Marx noFrederick Engels ezikhuthaza idabi lokuzikhulula kwingcinezelo yobukhoboka, zibe iinkosi kwelazo icala zingakwazi ukuphakamisela phezulu, ziqhayise ngengcingakuqiqa yobuAfrika.

Iinkosi zilwa zodwa ziyalandana; zihlala ezidolophini kude nabantu bazo; zifundile, nalo mfundo ziyisebenzisa ukuphakamisa intlalo yesiLungu; uninzi lwazo ziziqhekeza phakathi izizwe zazo, zingamalungu amaqela ezopolitiko; zingamalungu amahlelo eecawe zazo; azisenamaphakathi okuzicebisa, zizenzela izinto ngokucinga kwazo.

Iinkosi nazo xa zisenza ngolu hlobo zisebenzisa inkululeko yazo esekelezwe kwiingcinga zikaKarl Marx noFrederick Engels.

Into ebulala isizwe esiNtsundu kukuba sifuna kufihlwe kuqunywe kuhlonitshwe izithethe eziyintsika yobuzwe baso. Ezinye iintlanga eziwoyisileyo umzi oNtsundu zona izinto zazo zizibhentsisa elubala.

Ngolu hlobo lokuba abantu bacaphuka bafe ukuba ubalisa ngokuba kwantonjane kukho amakhwenkwana aneentlondi awayechwechwela amantombazana aleleyo awazume. Ubungqina baloo nto yingoma ethi: ‘Kukho inkwenkwe ezumayo, Nditsho, nditsho kuwe, ikhona inkwenkwe ezumayo!’

Kuthiwa esuthwini akukho nto inokwenza nesondo. Amakhwenkwe aphondlela ntoni, futhi eqhawulela ntoni phambi kokuba aluke? Abakhwetha bayifundiselwa ntoni indlela yokutyiwa kwenqashi?

Iinkosi asizizo izibhanxa, kodwa lifikile ixesha lokuba kukhuthazwe ukuthengiswa kweNgcingakuqiqa yamaAfrika (African Philosophy) ezizweni.

Oku kwakuphunyezwa ngokuba iiyunivesithi namacandelo ajongene nophando ngezinto zentlalo yabantu angenelele. Iiyunivesithi zinalaa nto kuthiwa yi ‘academic freedom’ eyenza zikwazi ukudala ingxoxo eyakhayo ngaphandle kwesheyi.

Ewe, le nto kuthiwa idalwe nguThixo, akakho umntu onokuphikisa indalo kaThixo, kodwa into yokuthandana kwabantu besini esinye ayamkelekanga ezilalini, abantu abenza le nto ngumsebenzi wabo ukuba bafundise ngayo. Umzekelo: uthembeka njani ubhuti-makoti ojike nozekwe wangumfazi selekhe waqoma ezintombini zabantu apha ekuhlaleni ezimithisa? Umntu onjalo angahlaliswa kanjani kwicala labafazi?

AmaXhosa akayamkeli into yokuthandana komntwana oyintombazana, kangangokuba inkwenkwe ide ibethwe nguyise wayo xa eyibhaqe ityhoboza kwakhe. Iqhelekile into yokulwa kwabantu bekhweletelana. Kutheni ke ngoku abantu abathandana besisini esinye xa behlangene nezi nkathazo besithi bayacalulwa, okanye bayaxhatshazwa?

Isithethe sesiXhosa sithi akukho ndoda inokubuthisa umfazi womntu ebusuku, loo ndoda iyabanjwa idliwe iinkomo ezintathu ngesityholo sokukrexeza, ngelishwa layo enye ide ibulawe. Ithini ke ngoku imeko kasisi-ndoda xa ebhaqwe nomkamntu ebusuku, yindoda yasekhay’apha ephathaphatha umfazi wamathile kwimihlaba enqabileyo ephathwa ngumyeni kuphela, ngokwesithethe?
