The Mdantsane boxer, Nhlanhla Tyirha.

Tyirha, 23, demonstrated once again that he is a promising boxer by defeating Silvestre in almost all of the fight’s twelve rounds. Silvestre was clearly no match for Tyirha.

Tyirha thanked everyone on his Facebook page at the start of the week.

“Let me take this opportunity to thank you for your prayers that helped me succeed,” said Tyirha who now has two belts under his name as a South African boxer.

“I am very grateful, and it is nice to know that I am not walking this road alone. The support I receive from you is what keeps me motivated.

“Please support others in the same capacity. I thank my coaches for pointing out the difficulties in the first round of the fight, which caused the change in other rounds,” said this Mdantsane boxer.

Tyirha said he will take a break after the fight but will return to the gym next week, though it is unclear what will happen next.
